From its base in Melbourne Rygel develops, manufactures and distributes the largest range of Agricultural Adjuvants available in Australia.
By adopting a strategy of brand exclusivity through limited key distributors, Rygel provides the Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Regional markets with a growing range of agricultural products.

Broadacre Agriculture

Rygel has developed the largest and most comprehensive range of agricultural adjuvants available in Australia for broadacre agriculture. Several of the key products have become identified as the clear industry leader in the Australian market. An example is Xtralife Marking Foam which lasts significantly longer than other foams available and works better in hard water.

By designing products that work more effectively in the demanding Australian environment where water is scarce, temperatures range to the extremes and productivity must be maximised, Rygel has built a range of products designed to excel in all situations.

Horticulture / Vines

Rygel has developed a range of special purpose adjuvants for use in the Horticulture, Viticulture and Ornamental plant industries.
These products were designed to provide outstanding wetting, spreading and retention of spray droplets on difficult to wet surfaces. They are highly effective at low use rates and are safe to use on sensitive high value crops.

Research & Development

Research and development is a core strength and priority within Rygel. With a commitment to expanding the company’s product base, Rygel's investment into research and development typically exceeds 3% of company turnover.
Rygel maintains an active association with leading researchers around the world and is regularly seeking to evaluate new technology in the Australian environment. Rygel also works co-operatively with local research and development organisations to help commercialise some of the excellent technology that exists within those institutions. Further, Rygel also has a responsive development department that constantly modifies and develops products to satisfy various opportunities and requests generated by its customers.
Extensive investigation in the laboratory is followed by independent glass house trials. Finally localised in-crop field trials are carried out by respected independent agronomists. Products are then submitted for registration by the relevant local authorities. In this way Rygel's customers can be confident they are using products that are both reliable and highly effective.
